EMMA'S FIRST COMMUNION

Emma received her first Communion today, May 5, at the St. Anthony de Padua RC Church in Brampton, Ontario.  It had been a long awaited day for her, for us for both her dad's and her mom's families. She received the Holy Sacrament for the first time and from now on, she will be doing it everytime here at St. John the Evangelist where she sings regularly in the children's choir..

After the Mass, we had a sumptous dinner at my daughter's house. After supper, she opened her gifts among which are two 50$ bills. She was jumping with glee, of course!

More guests arrived later. One granduncle, upon meeting her, asked: "So Emma, what happened  today?.."

Without batting an eyelash she immediately answered:

" I received $100.00" !!"
