more on Hawaii

the Polynesian Cultural Center

This is a must-visit attraction in Hawaii..No holiday is complete without dropping there. It is a showcase for dances, exhibits, costumes and traditions of the Hawaiian Islands and the other islands around it like Tahiti, etc. You take a slow boat ride from the  PCC gate to the other end of the Park, then one can walk back and visit the various booths and huts on the way..

One of the buildings showcasing Hawaiian culture

One of the gorgeous flowering plants in the PCC..The place is full of'em, different colours, different species...

One of the easter Island artifacts ( just a duplicate, of course ). How did those statues get there? Some say it is the handiwork of aliens from outer space...

The icing on the cake of the visit to the PCC is watching the 2 hour dance extravaganza on the gigantic stage made for this show..

The star singer/dancer of the show..

The costumes, the chereography, etc. can only be seen in its splendor in a place like the PCC..

The complete cast in a farewell number ..

ALOHA  for now....watch for more entries..
