Coming home, going home... even not on the wings of success, even if one goes home with dreams unfullfilled, with a purse only to last a year, contrary to the expectation of retiring pensionado...going home is a winner by itself.

Some go home with broken wings and hopes...tired of the loneliness of life abroad...they would have wanted to stay for more time, so may puhunan pagbalik, but alas, some are not as strong in heart.

Even for them, returning home is a victory in itself; wala ngang pera, but the spirit is up and bright...he is HOME!

of course, it is the practice of society to look to those who come home big time. I know of two doctors who went home...and both of them running for national offices this May... ive known these two although not as very personal, because Ive been once their mentor in med school. and through these years Ive geard news again and again how they made it big in USA; one told me one of them earns $2M in a year.

I also know of one doctor, tried his luck in the USA, and just this year, went home too, with only 6k in his name...this one is a different kind. a traveler. Ive heard he wandered from one state to another...he is a man trying to find his place, and doing what makes him happy; a very kind man, so few in wealth but very vast in understanding and thinking.
