Oliver Hufana Costes ( my first born son and brother to Michelle and Bernadette who sometimes grace the pages of my Journal ) and his family left for New Brunswick late this year. They stayed in Toronto for quite a spell. He wanted to pursue his ambition to become an Computer Animator and he was given an offer to this job in Miramichi, New Brunswick
one of the Eastern provinces in Canada. He worked in an office in downtown Toronto for a long time. At the same time, he was taking up Computer Animation lessons...
It was quite a big step for him because it means going away from Toronto where he arrived as a 2-year old in 1975. He spent practically all this time in the city. He took the plunge, pulled up his stakes and he headed East into this very small community where the nearest mall is about 20 m. away..
But New Brunswick is noted for fresh lobsters abundant especially during summer. Needless to say abundance means cheap prices. I believe the closest US province to NB is Maine. Sea food is also abundant ( and cheap ) in this New England state.
Here are some of the Halloween photos he shared with us, since the spirit of Halloween is still on the air, until the yellow leaves that adorn the trees have been shorn off from their branches by the gusty winds of Fall.---#
One of the last photos my 6 grandchildren had before Ollie and his family left for N.B. Emma poses,Chloe, in checkered jacket grins, Dillon in yellow coat is looking at something, Mia smiles ( as usual ) and Olivia and younger sister Audrey are looking very happy!
Oliver and Teresa, my daughter in law and Audrey with a yellow hat and a security blanket..
Olivia trying to frighten her dad..
Olivia and Audrey on a big friendly fish...
Which is scarier, the pumpkin or the smiling "severed" head?
Poking your nose into somewhere you are not supposed to, Audrey?
Beware of the GRIM REAPER!
